It all started, the winter of 2004 when I decided to look for a part- date job. I was a junior in gamy school, thinking I was ready to take on the responsibilities of whatsoever company that would hire me. One afternoon, I got a sh fall out out call to go for an interview at a local anaesthetic supermarket. They correspondingd my personality. They hired me on the spot. They described the duty of a prep cook like it was the best job for a high schooler. As the days went on, I realized that macrocosm a prep cook would probably be the polish off job ever. Every clip I put down a bash of breaded chicken down to fry, the odor of it came rushing on my clothes, hair and everywhere else. Also cleaning the fryer at the end of the shadow was the most hated part of my job. My sneakers were alway dirty from the grease spilling on the floor. I hated it when I went home smelling like fried chicken and feeling disgusting from the grease. My second responsibility became washing pots and pans. They had a cut down holding fifty gallon of hot water with degreaser detergent. They would soak the pots and pan inside the sink for hours. Once the pans were soaked in there, I had to pull them out to wash them.



I was doing this for about three hours a darkness causing my hands to dry up needing lotion. Lastly the shell part of the job was earning minimum wage. At the time it was fiver dollars and fifteen cents an hour. Working only 4 hours a night, 4 days a week; it wasnt enough to do or buy anything. Part of my earning was going toward helping my mother. So that permit me with a few dollars in my pocket to enjoy with my friends. world a prep cook was not easy to enjoy. afterward two years of working at the local supermarket being a part-time prep cook, I had decided it was time to move on.
