SIGNIFCANCE OF THE TOPIC
The financial orbit is the backbone of any economy. In our economy as well, the banking sphere is very important and contributes to the overall economic growth. Pre 2000 the sector was non vibrant and worked under the government. However ascribable to financial sector reforms the sector grew manifold in the 2000 2005 era and became very competitive. The nation saw an explosion of consumer credit and the sector grew at an extortionate rate.
With this study and the problems listed below, I would like to point out anomalies, which if determine can result in the following;
1.Staff faithfulness and long term commitment to the organization
2.Identifying and comparing the compensation differences across the board
3.Employee motivation leading to a positive effect in the service quality of the bank
4.Increased motivation level of employees
