Colonial life history in the States Colonists are a company of people who leave their country to settle in a new land .The colonial period was between the proterozoic 1500s and late 1700s . Spanish , French , Dutch , Swedish and British were all in all establishing colonies in this uncharted new land called America , 13 colonies which are: Georgia, S bring outh Carolina , North Carolina , Virginia , Maryland , public address system , Delaware , Connecticut , New Jersey , New York , Rhode Island , New Hampshire and mum had been founded by those settlers of different nationalities . In the beginning the colonial life in America was very difficult for the hopeful settlers who came to lead poverty, persecution, and to gain religious freedom. The colonists did not know how to live in the rugged wilderness and had no experience in preparing for the harsh, barbed cold winters . In Massachusetts, for example , the Plymouth settlers, spent most of their commencement winter (162021) on board the Mayflower. Many were sick and all were hungry. Nearly one-quarter of them died before a ship from England brought fresh supplies. They relied hard on their faith and spent much time in prayer .

Relations between the colonists and Indians were both friendly and unfriendly. fortuitously , neighboring Indians were helpful .
