E-mail: tigalindo@westmont.edu Abstract Narcissism, admiration of ones ingest physical or mental attributes may parallel with mental disease (a mental disorder resulting in extreme egocentricity) aspects and how it is involved in the criminal mindset. The relationship between highfaluting and vulnerable egotism-love was assessed by the Narcissistic Personality Inventory16 and the susceptible Narcissism Scale, and the four facets of psychopathy ( social, affective, modus vivendi, and antisocial) assessed via the Psychopathy Checklist: Screening variation (Shoenleber, Sadeh and Verona 2011).

Grandiose and vulnerable narcissism showed different relationships to psychopathy facets, with grandiose narcissism relating to the interpersonal facet and vulnerable narcissism relating to the lifestyle facet. Vulnerable narcissism seems to be associated with internalizing and substance use disorders and self and other directed aggression. Grandiose narcissism is associated with social dysfunction which is usually identified by manipulative and deceitful interpersonal style and unprovoked aggression (Shoenleber et al., 2011) which is a part of a lot of criminal syndromes and actions. It is also discussed how these implications can help scupper treatments and etiological pathways for these disorders and behaviors.
